Starting therapy can feel daunting for a number of reasons. You may feel overwhelmed. You may not know where to start. On the other hand, you may feel ready to begin therapy, and have clear ideas about what you need from a therapist.
Counselling provides a supportive relationship where you are able to gain awareness, about yourself, and how you relate to others.
In counselling you have the opportunity to be heard in a safe, confidential environment. You can share your deepest concerns and receive support in meeting the challenges you face.
People often come to counselling to deal with a crisis in their lives, or because they are no longer prepared to tolerate an on-going situation. Counselling allows you to cope with life’s challenges, and to grow from them.
